Lawrence Black, Jr.

Lawrence Black holds a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Leadership from MTSU and a Master's Degree in Human Resource Management from Tennessee Technological University. With over 20 years in the telecommunications industry, he has held numerous leadership positions. Lawrence specializes in Learning and Leadership Development, excelling in both classroom instruction and curriculum design.

Passionate about education, Lawrence is adept with various learning tools and management systems. He has been at the forefront of virtual team leadership and instruction for over a decade, well before recent trends. He finds fulfillment in non-traditional learning approaches, particularly in witnessing the moments of understanding ('light bulb moments') among learners.

Lawrence chose to join The Marcus Oliver Foundation board because of his genuine desire to mentor and support others, motivated by his commitment to enhancing life and well-being through education and support.
